SEATTLE LAW FIRM WEBSITE

Madison Park Injury Law

Starting a New Firm Without Starting From Scratch

Lawyers who leave a big firm to start a solo practice are, as a rule, accomplished litigators who have won remarkable cases, often the very cases that made their old firm’s reputation.

Bizango has helped a number of attorneys make this move, and they almost all face the same challenge. Those wins don’t necessarily come with them, at least not for marketing.

A former firm may see past results as its own, and professional rules govern how attorneys can describe them. So a lawyer with a long record often has to talk about it more carefully than the record deserves.

One thing you can do is make sure your new firm looks the part from day one. A new practice can’t match the reviews or search rankings of established competitors right away. It can, however, present itself with the same polish and confidence, and that is entirely within its control.

Launching a solo law firm

Kyle Jones had spent more than fifteen years in litigation, the last several in plaintiff’s personal injury work, winning major results for other firms. When he initially launched Madison Park Injury Law, he had almost no presence online. As an attorney, outside the courtroom, he had kept a low online profile. His first cases would come from referrals, and anyone who looked him up would find nothing. The site’s first job was to show that his firm was real, established, and worth the call.

The website may be the first time they encounter you. How do you want them to feel?

Kyle’s clients come to him after serious injuries. People in these situations are often in pain or overwhelmed, so the site needed to be calm and easy to navigate. It also had to convey strength without bragging. With personal injury attorneys, we’ve learned that strong results are best shown rather than announced. A site that promises clients more money tends to lose their trust, however true the promise may be. What we saw in Kyle was a natural fighter, the attorney you’d want in your corner when it gets tough, along with the judgment to know when a fight isn’t worth having. We designed for both: a fighter’s confidence, delivered in a steady, trustworthy tone.

The visual design sets the tone. Professional photography puts Kyle at the center, because the strongest thing a solo attorney can promise is that the name on the door is the person who handles your case. At a large firm, clients can’t always count on that. Classic serif type and Seattle imagery give the site the quiet authority of an established practice. His results appear in careful prose, framed in a way he’s comfortable standing behind.

Built to grow with your firm

The site runs on WordPress with a visual editor so a busy attorney can manage testimonials, practice areas, and past results. As new wins come in, he can add them without having to call us. Subtle animation gives it polish, and every page works cleanly on the phones where most of his clients will find him. We went from approved design to a working site in about a week.

Today, when a colleague refers someone to Kyle, the first thing they see is a firm that looks like it’s been there for years. That’s the point. The record was always real. Now the website looks as accomplished as the lawyer behind it.
