As a Junior Website Project Manager at Bizango, you'll support our Senior PM and Creative Director, and lead your creative and technical teammates, (designers, SEO, programmers) shepherding client web design projects through our process to completion.
Our websites are custom created for businesses and organizations. They involve creative design, data-driven SEO, custom programming, and content management systems.

Managing your own website projects, under the guidance of our Senior PM, you will:
Manage website projects from start to completion
as the front line coordinator between our business clients and our in-house team. PMs keep the ball moving forward. Build plans and schedules, monitor the team's progress, and wrangle the client for key meetings and deliverables while keeping them happy and informed.
Follow our documented process
to build project plans and schedules.
Directly manage client relationships;
talk on the phone and email; plan and conduct client meetings; coordinate with clients and answer their questions via zoom and email. At this small, busy agency, our PMs are the front lines of the client relationship.
Coordinate our team
to help designers, strategists and developers deliver cohesive marketing websites on schedule.
Track details —
you are the obsessively-organized member of the creative team who helps ensure we live up to the promises we make our clients and that we never drop a ball. You'll review all deliverables before the client does, and wrangle the team to correct any issues.
Help catch bugs and technical issues, and guide clients
as they learn to use their new websites and software. Our in-house developers and designers have your back and can always help you find the answers you need.
Share creative insights
and help facilitate project conversations both internally and with clients, supported by the Senior PM and Creative Director.
Help improve our process —
work closely with management to identify bottlenecks and issues and help us all get better at what we do.
Supporting our Senior PM and your creative teammates, you will:
Participate in internal and external project meetings,
creative and technical. Schedule meetings. Document decisions. Create tasks. And follow up after the fact to ensure everyone delivers.
Assist in production
of custom websites and campaigns. Spearhead the collection and organization of assets and content. Play a supporting creative role as projects come together. And sometimes, import content and assets to the website's CMS.
Meet frequently
with Senior PM, Operations Director and Creative Director. Hone your skills. Immerse in best practices and on-the-ground techniques for marketing project and account management.
Once websites launch you'll continue supporting our agency/client relationships:
Help answer customer support tickets.
Respond quickly to client queries. Follow up by wrangling internal creative and technical resources to get clients answers to their questions.
Identify tickets that will result in paid projects
as opposed to simple support questions, and assist in creating estimates, getting client approval, and delivering hourly design and programming work.

You've built the perfect plan, and everyone's signed off. Suddenly, something changes outside of your control, and we need a new plan. You roll your eyes, laugh in the face of danger, and start building Plan B.
You are diplomatic and ready to bring joy to clients,
while standing firm for your teammates when it counts.
You're a perfectionist.
It's your eye, at the end of the day, that catches something small that everyone else might have missed.
Required Experience
- 1-2 years as either a project manager or in a marketing role.
- Must be able to demonstrate a desire to grow in project management.
- You also have some WordPress or Wix or SquareSpace or HTML or other website experience
Bonus Points
These things aren't requirements, but if you have them, they're worth mentioning in your application:
- Other design experience
- Other client-facing or customer service experience. If you've waited tables or tended bar, you might just be ready to wrangle our clients.
Starting Salary and benefits:
Starting salary range $45k-$56k DOE

This is a Remote Position
Here's what that looks like at BIzango...
Though we're based in Seattle, we're mostly a remote team. But we keep regular business hours (9am-5:30pm) in the Mountain/Pacific time zone.
We stay in close contact throughout the day both on zoom and slack. (And zoom frequently with clients.)
Every morning (Pacific time) our full team meets via zoom. We slack all day long (especially PMs). And we gather periodically in person, about once a year, for fun and collaboration.
You must live and work in the US for this job.
